Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Executive Club (the “App”, “we”, “us”) is an invitation-style professional networking application for verified executives, operated by Ataforge Inc. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the App you agree to this Policy.

2. Information We Collect

• Account data: your corporate email address, first and last name, and an encrypted (hashed) password.
• Profile data you provide: age, gender, citizenship, country and city of residence, languages, education, position, company, employee count, revenue range, biography, phone number, profile photo, and travel preferences.
• Verification data: a LinkedIn URL and optional news/article links you submit for membership review.
• Content: posts, photos and videos you upload, likes, follows, blocks, reports, and direct messages.
• Device & usage data: push notification token, app language/locale, and basic technical logs needed to operate and secure the service.
• Purchase data: subscription status and entitlements (processed by Apple and Google; we do not receive your card details).

3. How We Use Your Data

• To create and maintain your account and verify membership eligibility.
• To operate core features: discovery, profiles, posts, follows, messaging, notifications, and travel statistics.
• To manage subscriptions and unlock Pro features.
• To send transactional emails (e.g. one-time verification codes) and push notifications.
• To keep the platform safe (rate limiting, abuse prevention, moderation of reports).

4. Legal Bases (EEA/UK)

Where the GDPR applies, we process data to perform our contract with you (providing the service), for our legitimate interests (security, improving the service), to comply with legal obligations, and based on your consent where required (e.g. push notifications).

5. Sharing & Service Providers

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers that help us run the App, under appropriate safeguards:

• Apple App Store / Google Play and RevenueCat — subscription billing and entitlement management.
• Cloudflare R2 — storage of photos and videos.
• Expo — delivery of push notifications.
• Email delivery provider — sending verification and account emails.
• Cloud hosting — running the application and database.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account; this deactivates your profile and removes it from discovery, and we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Passwords are stored only as salted Argon2 hashes. Access tokens are short-lived and rotated. We apply rate limiting and other safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Your Rights

Subject to your local law (including GDPR and CCPA), you may request to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise most rights directly in the App, or contact us at [email protected].

9. International Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate transfer safeguards.

10. Children

The App is intended only for adults (18+) and verified executives. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

11. Changes

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Effective date” above and, where appropriate, by in-app notice.
